So you want a weave, but don’t want to have to worry about having to keep you hair straight or doing twist outs and not worry about your hair reverting….Easy solution- get hair that matches your texture. More and more women are buying hair to get their hair to look like us..Surprising right? At first its to get straight hair down their back, now alot of women what the look of a natural without taking the plunge. Here are some options:
Halley’s Curls - Great price for the hair. It is processed, but I don’t care if its processed if it matches my hair texture
They have a sale going on the month of July! Woohoo! Im about to get some of the Creole Curly or Creole wavy.
Creole Curly Natural
Next we have All About My Hair in 2 textures (similar in price to Halleys Curls)
Kinky Curly Natural Coarse

Lastly, Bohyme Brazilian Wave – This is one that you can purchase at a BSS (Beauty Supply Store) BUT it sheds alot so you should seal it if you purchase. I used this before. Their promo picture doesn’t do the hair ANY justice. When you wet it, it has a great curl pattern. The picture below is how it looks straight out the pack. It looks similar to the AAMH Kinky Curly above.

When people think about a kinky curly type of texture usually it is a debate between those 3- Halleys Curls Creole Curly, AAMH Kinky Curly, and Bohyme Brazilian Wave. Depends on what you want to spend and how long you want it to last.
Remember when buying curly/kinky hair, the length is measured it it’s stretched state so if you order 18 inches…it may moreso be like 15 inches when it is wet.
Oh yeah, one more that is fairly new and getting recent buzz is Arjuni. They actually sell hair using the Hair Typing system, but they don’t sell 4′s..unless it’s not avail online. With them it is online only and you have to sign up for a free phone consultation with them so they can find the best match for you. Here is their 3c and 3d

I’m planning on getting a weave soon as my protective styling so I hope this helps some people that are thinking about a weave but don’t want to do the traditional straight hair and want less hassle dealing with their leave out.

This was great!! I have natural 4A, 4B hair and I have worn weaves before and it was always such a hassle trying to get and KEEP my hair bone straight. I had never heard of the”All About My Hair” and I love the kinky curly hair pattern. I will definitely be trying that! Thanks so much!
I’m getting a weave in 3 wks; gotta check out these suppliers asap! Thanks for sharing =)
Hi I currently have Halleys Curls Creole Curly installed in my hair.
Creole Curly has a beautiful texture, but it is very hard to maintain. i am struggling right now with it and its not even a week since i had it in. i followed all of the directions to maintain the hair and it stills frizz up on me and gets tangled. when its wet and semi dry the curls looks beautiful, but after a couple of hours it swells up and turns in to a hard brillo pad. i had to suffer thru a first date looking like a Chi Pet, thank goodness my date looked passed my bad hair day (my oufit distracted him ; ) ) i am going to give it another try again with some anti frizzing products to see how it turns out. hopefully it will work. Wish me luck….
i heard from other blogs that All About My Hair is good, but it sheds a lot as well. Try realhairexclusive.com , i heard good things about them.
